WOMAN IN LOVE

        “Almost forgot how it feels…”
“To hit what… six in a row?”
“They were five… don't flatter yourself,” she smiled, her teeth through my bleeding lip. “To feel good… Really good. Haven’t felt like this in years… Not since startin’ somethin’ with that shit.”
        “The shit you married?”
“Yeah, the shit I married… A fucking suit that fucked most of the companies he worked for and that never fucked me right… Never got a hard one with him. Always had to polish myself… And the sucker never went down on me.”
“His fucking loss... I spent time with the merchandise and I have top-notch reviews.”
“You’re so very kind,” she smiled, lips back on mine.
“Why the fuck did you marry him?”
“I was young and stupid, why the hell do you think I did it?” she smiled, scratching my chest. “I got married in my twenties… Just because I got pregnant… Didn’t want my daughter to grow without a father... I was fucking stupid…” she said, reaching for the cigarette.
“Even if the father’s some Lurch-looking douche?”
“Wasted twenty years of my life on… Lurch,” she smiled. “But I think I’m startin’ to see things for what they are. You brought back this fucking amazing feeling... Somethin’ up the alley of love.”
“It’s been an honor and a privilege,” I replied, Indian giver with the smoke. “Why don’t you get a divorce? Renounce his ass. Fuck knows you’re way too cool for him...”
“I will. Should have renounced his ass twenty years ago… But I was stupid enough to pretend it all away for the kid… And still, she likes him more…”
“Maybe she just digs the Addams vibes he struts around.”
She smiled and bit my lip. Got out of bed and reached for her dress on the floor.
“Already spoke with my lawyer. Will file for divorce soon,” she said, slipping into black satin. “Just hope we’ll get a few more shots at this naked poetry here after all’s said and done with Lurch…”
“Fuck that. No more sweat on the run. I want you to move in.”
Above a smile forged in Eden’s gate, her lewd eyes flickered and burned in mine.
“Don’t fuck around… You want something real?”
“Ain’t fucking around. I want you.”
“No more screwing around? No more Top Gun nights? No more vamps to quench the hunger? You think you can survive it?”
“I’ll have you for all that.”
“Yeah, you will… But are you sure about this? Are you sure you want something real? Out in the light… No scotch, no wine… No cigarettes, no vinyls… Just you and me, out in the midday sun?”
        “Bring it on.”
“Fuck, I like you…” she said, reaching for my lips.
“Go and get fucking divorced. Just hope you’ll still remember me when every fucker in the park will come a-knockin’…”
“Sure I will. Ain’t that easy to forget six in a row…”
        "So there were six."
"Yeah, but I don't want ya to stop the good work..."
She flashed another smile and said she’ll call. The clock struck ten when she dropped by the next day, another night through bedroom lights with the best this country cages. From her body to her stance… the way she walks, the way she talks, the way she fucks and breathes… the blonde flames miles away from the bunch.
